If our group were lucky enough to get this song, I think that these videos would influence it a lot;
Of course before all the crazy bondage hello kitty's stuff, but the idea of a lost girl or someone in search of something in a greenland setting, I also find the whole big hair, lots of makeup effect might work aswell, with the type of dress and maybe the whole path idea.
I don't think the whole Alice in Wonderland theme would work because, it's been done:
Around 3:20 the actual song seems to kick in, but I'm sure you've all heard it before, but this video is infamous for it's whole crazy Alice in Wonderland meets Harajuku Lolita style, even though it goes through all the characters and my initial idea would just be the beginning with her in search and confused. I also feel that if the video was Alice in Wonderland themed, it may be seen to be too influenced by Tim Burton's latest release.
And a lot more recently;
Daisy Dares you- Number One Enemy.
The stopmotion effect;
Not the whole depressing and scary guys in the background, but just the way she moves and looks kind of, imagine that in a woodland setting and not with the fast pace behind her.
Another idea for the video would be a Shadow Puppet, perhaps a rabbit? I'm not sure why but the song's beat reminds me of Watership Down, but the happy part(Is any of it happy?) I can't think of any examples right now but here's an image of a fan's version of the rabbit.

Here's the scene in Watership Down with the black rabbit in, now as a kid it terrified me, but the rabbit is a shadow and now I understand the look of it more and think that maybe it could work in the video.
Au Revoir Simone's official video;
I never expected this for the video, just the band in a dark room with a camera pacing around them with instruments, the only bit of the video I understand which fits with the song itself is the movements of the camera, the stop motion style effect- like I mentioned earlier.
