Whitenoise gradually turns in to a girl walking into a forest, she's dressed in a fairytale style dress, mayble like Alice in Wonderland's, with big hair and big makeup(like a Disney Cyndi Lauper).
The music will start as soon as the girl enters the woodland, she moves slowly through the forest with a curious/cautious expression and disorintated movements.
The girl will go past a variety of brightly coloured, misplayed objects, paying no attention to them, as if only the audience can see them, they might flash away or perhaps have an over exaggerated 'shadow' flash in and out, doing completely different movements to her(animation or just a person dressed in all black, same girl?)- Decided to keep the shadow but until the end sequence.
When it gets to the chorus- the 'film' would break up and cut to the girl looking almost the oppisite to before(makeup running?). She's inside an old, abandoned barn, with either a very low saturation or sepia colouring, the girl is singing the words to the camera, she looks misplaced and very small in this setting.
As soon as that chorus finishes, it will flash back to the girl wondering around the forest, this time with closeups of her face maybe lip syncing aswell, the woodland starts flashing(Could be achieved with a Nikon camera flash), this will continue until the middle eight, which is where she stops still and starts to spinning on the spot(or another repetitive 'dance') the shot will cut to her in the barn again, spinning in the same spot, going back and fourth from each shot, maybe a third location too(Church or graveyard perhaps?) with a completely different outfit again.
When the middle eight stops, she collapses on the ground in each location and continues singing, in the woodland setting a bright light emerges from the cameras right, she starts to sheild her eyes, as this happens it will flash from her doing this and just sitting there with a freaky shadowy figure stalking behind her, obviously being revealed by the light, the figure keeps getting closer to her with each flash. The girl gradually turns around and before noticing the figure the film breaks up again and goes back to the barn with the girl sitting there with a book in front of her on a table, she is surrounded by the objects from before(including a keyboard, which will be one of the main objects throughout)and seems to be drawing in the book, by this time the song has ended, the camera zooms into the book, it turns out it is called shadows and she is manipulating the story by pasting a picture of herself next to the prince.
