The band's name comes from Tim Burton's Pee-Wee Herman's Big Adventure which was created in 1985.
The band consist of three keyboards and a drum machine, all the members do the vocals too, their musical genre is a mix between indie and techno.
They have been influenced by the likes of Beach Boys, Bjork, David Bowie, Billie Holiday and The Bee-Gees.
A few of their songs have been featured on popular television shows too such as Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy. They have also been featured in some foreign films, Keinohrasen, Kimi no Tomodachi.
The band themselves have released three studio albums, the first two under Moshi Moshi records and the third Our Secret Record Company.
